Bloodwood Trout & Bird           WCB-011: Bloodwood Trout & Bird This is my latest design for a good, user-friendly trout and bird hunting knife. Similar to the hollow-ground ones in size, this knife sports a flat-ground blade and does not have quite as drastic of a curve to the handle. I also tapered the handle a bit more to produce a much lighter weight knife over all! The contour and taper allow the knife to seat very well in the hand, providing excellent control. I put a larger finger choil in the ricasso to allow the hand to seat higher up on the blade. The beautiful grain of the bloodwood handle is complimented by the water buffalo horn ferrell and nickel silver guard. All in all, this is probably my favorite trout and bird design to date!
