Frontier Cooks Knife

Pioneering the meats and vegitables of the new world requires a cooks knife that is up for any challenge. The high-carbon blade is a full 1/8 inch thick at the spine, flat ground down to a razor edge. The scale from the forge was left on the top of blade and burnished to make for a surface that would not get stuck on the food it will be cutting! The ergonomic handle design allows the knife to seat perfectly in a larger hand and the balance is perfectly centered for the greatest precission and control. The beautiful Iron Wood handle scales are complimented with brass pins and Ebony Wood bolsters. This is an excellent heavy-duty cooks knife! This is the first in a series of Frontier Kitchen Knives...I should have a Frontier Santuko and Frontier Paring Knife in the not-so-distant furture!
